According to Atomico’s State of European Tech 2024 report:

Only 1.4% of European venture capital went to women-only founding teams.
Less than 15% of decision-makers in European VC firms are women.
Yet, diverse founding teams outperform non-diverse teams by 25% in ROI, McKinsey data shows.
AI startups led by women are more likely to prioritize ethical frameworks and inclusive design, according to a 2023 AI Now Institute study.
