Our team of specialists and experienced teachers includes Qualified Teachers of the Vision Impaired (QTVIs), Qualified Teachers of the Deaf (QToDs), and SEND advisory teachers who work with Waltham Forest mainstream schools colleagues to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and one of the most effective ways we can do this is through training. You all are welcome to join our informative and interesting training sessions. Our specialist areas of training are:• Vision Impairment• Hearing Impairment• Autism• Learning and Cognitive disabilities, including SpLD (Dyslexia)Whilst the Centre specialises in SEND provision, its courses are highly relevant to those in mainstream education. Without exception, its courses are informative, engaging, and of high quality enabling participants to improve their skills and knowledge as well as furthering their careers. The Centre draws on the expertise and experience of teams working at Flourish Specialist Education Services in order to create programmes that are highly relevant to today’s school environment.
