Organizer of Prayer Garden of Memphis Events
Author and Minister John Maxwell says “God only gives you what he wants to flow through you, we are meant to be rivers and not reservoirs.” Prayer warrior Marceline Williams lives this creed in her daily life and is embodying it with her most recent creation, The Prayer Garden of Memphis.Williams, a Memphis,TN-based minister and mother of four, created The Prayer Garden of Memphis to restore people’s belief in prayer. In witnessing the world’s issues, and in particular the plagues affecting Memphis, TN such as crime, joblessness, poverty, school system wars, Williams felt that it was time to get back to basics, the most fundamental basic being prayer. And through her own inspiration from God, and living her life through answered prayer, The Prayer Garden of Memphis is here.“The world has been seduced by worldly possessions and aspirations, and in doing so, we are becoming disconnected with why we are really here, which is to serve God and be his vessels. Through prayer, we can reconnect with our purpose in life, and with one another and heal not only our personal wounds, but those of our city,” Shepherdess Marceline Williams, Founder & CEO, Prayer Garden of Memphis.Fervently believing that God’s strength is greater than our own, Williams wanted to provide a widely accessible resource, not requiring any money or transportation, which people can tap into to draw on God’s strength when they need to draw upon something other than themselves. The Prayer Garden of Memphis, an interdenominational Christian-based web platform residing 24/7 atwww.prayergardenofmemphis.com, offers inspirational messages and a place for people to submit anonymous prayers.  Over time, the site will offer additional resources such as videos, books and music to better equip people to connect with God.  PGOM is intentionally not affiliated with any church domination to best equip the organization to serve all who are seeking God.
